13 - Fresh mint leaves — optional, to garnish
# How to Make It:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. If using oven-safe mini flower pots (about 200 ml / 7 fl oz capacity), line the bottoms with a small square of parchment; otherwise line a baking tray with parchment for baking a single slab to be cut later.
02 - Gently melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat; remove from the heat and whisk in the granulated sugar and vanilla until smooth.
03 - Temper in the eggs one at a time, whisking vigorously after each addition until fully incorporated and the mixture is glossy.
04 - Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt; fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients with a spatula or spoon until just combined—avoid overmixing.
05 - Spoon or pipe the batter into six prepared oven-safe flower pots, filling each about two-thirds full, or spread evenly in the prepared baking tray.
06 - Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely in the vessels or on a wire rack if baked in a tray.
07 - Place the Oreo cookies (with filling) in a food processor and pulse to fine crumbs; alternatively place cookies in a resealable bag and crush with a rolling pin until a soil-like texture forms.
08 - Using an electric mixer, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar to stiff peaks, taking care not to overwhip.
09 - If you baked the brownies in a tray, cut them into rounds or squares to fit the bottom of each flower pot and transfer them into the cleaned pots.
10 - Spread a layer of whipped cream over each brownie base, then generously sprinkle the Oreo crumbs on top to create the appearance of soil.
11 - Decorate each pot with edible flowers, gummy 'flowers' or mint leaves to achieve a miniature garden presentation.
12 - Chill the assembled pots for at least 20–30 minutes before serving to set the cream and meld flavors.
